Today, 2K unveiled the latest updates to MyTEAM in NBA® 2K27,the latest iteration of the NBA video game franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. With an all-new Player XP system, an expanded Exchange that maximizes the value of every card, rotating multiplayer* modes, players can build their dream NBA and WNBA lineup and put it to the test across competitive single-player and multiplayer experiences.

Every card has a role and more value.”

MyTEAM Enhancements in NBA 2K27:

• Exchange Without Limits: For the first time, players can exchange any Player Card in their collection for rewards, including cards earned from Season levels and cards already used to claim a Collection Reward (Free Agent cards excluded). This ensures that every single card a player earns, pulls, or unlocks is a meaningful asset toward building an unstoppable lineup.
• All-New Player XP: A dedicated Player XP system that allows every single Player Card to level up through play, with stronger on-court performances accelerating progression even further. Rewards include attribute boosts, starting a game with Takeover already active, a permanent additional turbo meter, and an extra Badge Slot, all stacking with existing boosts from Evolutions, Dynamic Duos, and Coach Cards. Player XP is tied to the player's account, so progress is retained even if a card is auctioned or exchanged, and resumes if that card is reacquired.
• Rotating Multiplayer Modes: Fan-favorite modes Triple Threat Online and Clutch Time Online return alongside Limited, Salary Cap, and new multiplayer experiences. Modes will rotate throughout the year, from weekend runs and special Festivals to full Seasons, bringing new lineup rules, win streaks, and top-tier rewards.
• Triple Threat Park & All-Star Team-Up: Triple Threat Park hits the court under the bright lights with a nighttime takeover of Skyline Park. Players can take MyTEAM cards into streetball-style gameplay with returning 2v2 and 3v3 co-op runs, alongside intense head-to-head team-control matchups. All-Star Team-Up games are now played inside full NBA and WNBA arenas with complete broadcast commentary.
• Expanded Breakout and Infinite Gauntlet: Breakout introduces a dynamic progression system that expands the board with every warp, opening fresh paths and high-value reward opportunities. Gauntlet is now infinite as long as players have eligible cards in their collection, stacking evolving opponent twists, collection shops, and a seasonal leaderboard to raise the stakes on every single run.
• Daily Login: Daily Login rewards now run on a three-tier structure. Players earn a reward every day they log in, unlock additional rewards at streak milestones of three, five, and seven consecutive days, and earn lifetime rewards based on total MyTEAM login days across all of NBA 2K27, whether or not those days are consecutive.
• Card Discovery: A new Scouting Report section in the Collections menu shows the recent Player Cards a player has faced and displays exactly how to acquire each one, whether through the Pack Market, the unified Auction House, or as a game mode reward.
• Unified Auction House: For the first time, the Auction House goes cross-platform across PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, creating the largest card marketplace in MyTEAM history. Experience greater card variety and more consistent pricing. Transactions remain closely monitored but are now expedited for sellers and instantly available for buyers.
• Player Card Parallels: 2K27 expands the card library with new designs and rarities to collect, and it also introduces new Player Card Parallels. Parallels are alternate designs of a Player Card, including Glass, Gem, Holo, On Fire, and more.
