Today, 2K revealed the latest updates coming to MyWNBA and The W in NBA 2K27, the latest iteration of the NBA video game franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. This year’s modes focus on locking in on career progression and developing team chemistry. Players can build a dynasty in MyWNBA or grow as a leader on the court in The W.

MyWNBA and The W Enhancements in NBA 2K27:

• Build-as-You-Go and Attribute Caps: Unique to The W, 2K27 introduces a Build-as-You-Go progression model to remove attributes and reapply them elsewhere to give players the flexibility to evolve their game. Additionally, an updated Game Attribute System enables physical attributes to directly determine maximum attribute caps.
• Team Badges and Teammate Badges: The all-new Team Badges and Teammate Badges fuel on-court chemistry. This year’s mode features five Team Badges and 12 Teammate Badges, which lead to two distinct upgrade paths as players progress.
• Play-Calling and PlayVision: The W is the perfect place to master PlayVision, which is receiving a game-wide facelift. Completing in-game challenges and earning the coaching staff’s trust gradually unlocks quick plays, complex player-specific sets and greater control of the offense. Access opponent-specific game plans immediately, and complete season-long challenges to unlock new Team Badge slots.
• Total Franchise Control in MyWNBA: Designed to mirror MyNBA, MyWNBA integrates every feature, adjustable simulation, and franchise-altering mechanic available in MyNBA into the WNBA experience. Players can make blockbuster trades, draft generational talent, and build a dynasty from the front office.
